Running ‘S’ Equine Named Official Veterinary Service of the Garden State Horse Show
GLADSTONE, N.J. – Feb. 5, 2019 – The leadership of the Junior Essex Troop, producers of the Garden State Horse Show, announced that Running ’S’ Equine Veterinary Services was named “Official Veterinary Practice of the Garden State Horse Show.” The Garden State Horse Show is New Jersey’s premier AA-rated hunter/jumper competition and will be held for the first time at Hamilton Farm, home of the U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation, April 27 - May 5, 2019.
“The Garden State Horse Show is an iconic, historic horse show in the Northeast and with the move to Hamilton Farm, with so much tradition and history, we knew we had to support it and get involved,” said Running ‘S’ Equine Veterinary Services’ founder and owner, Greg Staller, DVM, DACVS. “And, it’s right in our backyard!”
The name “Running ‘S’, comes from the family brand used to identify cattle that grazed in the California foothills where Dr. Staller was raised. He first connected with horses on the 11,420-acre ranch. His early experiences inspired his veterinary career and the creation of Running ‘S’ Equine Veterinary Services.
Running ‘S’ Equine is a premier equine veterinary practice based in Califon, New Jersey, with a focus on top- quality sport horse diagnostics and treatment. Founded in 1995, the practice completed construction of the hospital facility in 2001. Since then, the practice has grown from one veterinarian to five full-time practitioners and offers specialists in surgery, sport horse medicine, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and a broad range of other services.

Running ‘S’ Equine will be on site throughout the Garden State Horse Show. They havd provided official veterinary services to top competitions for many years including the Platinum Performance/USEF Show Jumping Talent Search, the USET Festival of Champions, Monmouth at the Team and more. Most recently, Running ‘S’ Equine served as presenting sponsor for the newly re-instated Essex Horse Trials.

ABOUT GARDEN STATE HORSE SHOW
The Garden State Horse Show was founded in 1951 by the Junior Essex Troop, a cadet auxiliary born out of the 102nd Cavalry – New Jersey National Guard Essex Troop, to teach young men ages 11-18 cavalry-style horsemanship. In 1983 the Junior Essex Troop became coed.
